Project Renegades brings together the “renegades” of the fragrance industry: Geza Schön, Mark Buxton and Bertrand Duchaufour. Being ones the most creative fragrance artists within the international industry they have created three fragrances, which are spectacularly uncompromising and – once again – ahead of their time. Project Renegades is an olfactory fantasy for true individualists: radical, complex, courageous, without any alternative.
Also aesthetically Project Renegades makes a statement. The perfumers present themselves as wild cowboys in graffiti/comic style – wild, unbridled, with a sense of irony. The 3D head on the bottle is unique in the world of fragrances.
The distribution is as individual as the fragrances and their future wearers: Project Renegades is only available in extremely selected stores.

“Project Renegades is about letting your imagination run wild and not taking yourself too seriously,” Geza Schön points out. “Fragrances are often not bold enough. We are the ones who will change this,” adds Mark Buxton. And Bertrand Duchaufour concludes: “Project Renegades is not just groundbreaking. The Renegades are in their own orbit.”

Three perfumers, three scents, three avatars: wild, crazy and spectacularly creative, the triumvirate Schön | Buxton | Duchaufour presents their Project Renegades. The outer packaging shows bullet holes, the cardboard boxes are an exuberant artwork somewhere between graffiti art and Steampunk comics, each bottle comes with a magnetic 3D image of the respective perfume rebel.
MARK BUXTON
A French soul of Anglo-German origin: Mark Buxton is the creative cosmopolitan of Project Renegades. His scents are compositions unfolding artistically and surprisingly on the skin. For the Renegades project he attaches a breeze of romance to the rough Wild West charm. At the heart of the fragrance, Buxton allows some smoky leather rose to bloom, framing it with woody and spicy notes: a perfume artwork for individualists who combine intellect and wildness.
BERTRAND DUCHAUFOUR
He created exciting fragrances for many of the big houses: Bertrand Duchaufour already worked for Penhaligon’s, Amouage, Comme des Garcons, Givenchy, Christian Dior and L’Artisan Parfumeur. For Project Renegades he freed himself from the burdens of the big brands – completely liberated, he takes us on an olfactory ride through tangy, sensual landscapes: his scent opens with pink pepper, incense and Japanese cypress, leads to the water and fades with a prominent sea breeze.
GEZA SCHÖN
Geza Schön, mastermind of Escentric Molecules, once again surprises us. His scent is hot, and you can take that literally. Geza committed to one of his favorites, the pink pepper tree – and, from its berry to its bark to its leaves, recreated it olfactoricly.
